Every pair is made by hand in Montegranaro, in small workshops where we know the people and the materials. Our leather comes from trusted Italian specialists in the Marche region, known for centuries of master craftsmanship.

1) Responsible material: all hides are byproducts of the food industry, so nothing is raised for its leather.

2) Environmental auditing: our Italian tannery partners follow Leather Working Group (LWG) guidelines and ISO 14001 standards for reducing water waste and energy use.

3) Chemical safety: our leathers and rubber soles comply with EU REACH regulations and are free from substances of very high concern.

4) Less waste: rubber trimmings from sole production are fed back into production, and the shoebox is made from recycled, recyclable cardboard.

5) 100% Made in Italy: crafted locally under European labour law, with safe working conditions and fair pay.

To exchange your pair, simply make sure they are:

• Unworn, undamaged and in the same new condition (no creases, or marks of visible wear)
• In the original box, with the tissue paper and packaging
• Sent back within 14 days of delivery
• Advice: try them indoors, on a clean surface

Please note the following: The ordered item(s) will only be sent after the payment is cleared and checked by us. Genaio does not deliver to P.O.Box addresses. Moreover, all orders will include an official invoice declaring the exact total amount of the purchased goods in the paid valuta. We will not lower the value or mark the item(s) as a gift on the invoice of the parcel since it is illegal and in violation of international import regulations as stated in Dutch Law.

If the item is not received and sent back to us by the postal service company you will be charged the actual shipping fee. The price of the item will be credited once we receive the item. We will contact you to inform you when we receive the package.
